My Lai – Unstuck 12"

When there is an hardcore band that covers Fehlfarben, one should take it with cautions. But I think My Lai did their best and I like their Grauschleier better than Baffdecks’ Paul Ist Tot. Even the others songs are great. But here comes the big surprise, singer of famous German band Trend (Die Dienstleistung) was also member of My Lai. That's great. Wow, everything has it's link. Other members were also part of Genepol. Hehe

If I got this right, Meine Herren had something in common with Slime. Either both are from Hamburg or even better, they shared some members. Additional fact: this CD was released by the Weser Label which did also most Die Mimmi's records and some of the Die Goldenen Zitronen ones.

For me the fourth song is interesting. Young band Die Strafe seems to be misplaced as they are not the typical polical Deutschpunk. Therefore they should have named their song "Keine Zukunft" haha.

The title (Here burns the world) is taken from the jail diaries of John Rittmeister. He was decapitated on May 13th, 1943 by Nazi hangman. His incrimination was (co-)producing anti-fascist flyers.

Arse grenade and rock rocket, well, you haven't expected this? These are two fine punk rock longplayers. I really dig the artwork of the Arschgranate. Bunnies are always fun. I cannot tell much about the contained music but I guess it's really nice. I don't think this is macho-esque wannabe ass kicking rock'n'roll shit that is selled today as punk rock like Turbonegro, Hellacopters and sorts of this. No, this is not my opinion. Und außerdem starb der Fahrer.
